The New England Revolution extended their unbeaten streak to eight games and secured their hold on first place in the Eastern Conference with a 2-0 victory over Toronto FC on Saturday night at BMO Field.The Revolution improved to 7-1-3 overall and 3-1-1 on the road while second year goalkeeper Djordje Petrovic picked up his fifth clean sheet of the season and 12th of his MLS career.The Revolution will be back on the home pitch Tuesday night (7:30) when they take on the Pittsburgh Riverhounds SC of the USSF in a Lamar Hunt U.S Open Cup match. CHICAGO — A woman is dead after being dragged under a mini van in the parking lot of a church in Forest Glen Saturday, according to the Chicago Police Department.Police said a 61-year-old woman was instructing a 61-year-old man on how to drive a Toyota Sienna mini van around 7:15 p.m. in the back of a church parking lot in the 5100 block of West Devon Avenue, when the 61-year-old man hit the accelerator in reverse, instead of hitting the brake.The 61-year-old woman was then dragged under the vehicle.After police arrived on scene, the 61-year-old woman was taken to St. Francis Hospital where she was later pronounced dead. AUSTIN (KXAN) — KXAN projects that voters passed Saturday Proposition A, B and C. The total bond package is about $131 million. The Eanes ISD Board of Trustees called a May 6 bond election for voters to consider maintenance and efficiency projects, safety and security upgrades, new technological devices for students and staff and stadium upgrades. LOUIS - One man has died, and another man is hurt after a shooting Saturday evening in north St. Louis.The shooting happened around 8 p.m. Saturday in the 1500 block of Destrehan Street in the Hyde Park neighborhood.
